The ink absorbency tester is used to test the ink absorption performance of paper and cardboard in a predetermined time area.

It is specially designed for measuring the sizing of paper and cardboard according to the requirements of the determination of paper sizing (ink scribing method). Refers to the water resistance of paper and paper, the stronger the water resistance, the greater the degree of sizing. The water resistance of paper and paperboard is measured by the width of the ink line, and the water resistance of the paper is evaluated by the maximum line width that does not diffuse or penetrate when the standard ink is used to draw a line on the surface of the paper and paperboard.
